Why exactly did you move all the way to Japan?
I wanted to teach English as a second language, as well as work on my own Japanese (I minored in Japanese, but it’s still not very good). I think languages are fascinating. I also couldn’t get a decent job in the US (After graduation, I was unemployed for 3 months, then worked at Wal-mart for 6 until I left for Japan in April). I also didn’t have anything tying me down to any one place. I thought it would be a great experience.
But really, I still don’t know what I want to do with my life. I won’t stay here forever, it’s too lonely. But I don’t know what I’ll do when I go back to the states, either. *sigh* This is the source of most of my stress lately.
